FOR SCHOOLS AND TRUSTS
Grow the next urban farmers.
A cabinet in the classroom where a class can sow on Monday and harvest the week after next, with the science on the door screen for everyone to see.

HOW IT WOULD WORK FOR YOU
From first call to a routine.

01 · MONDAY
Sow
Pupils spread seed on a tray, slide it onto a shelf and tap the crop on the door screen.
02 · DAYS 2 TO 4
In the dark
The lights stay off while seeds germinate and the Brain keeps the tray damp. A good moment to ask why.
03 · DAYS 5 TO 9
Watch it grow
Lights on, watering on a schedule and a photo every day. Pupils can chart the growth from the photos and readings.
04 · DAY 10
Harvest
The screen says the shelf is ready. Cut, taste, and sow the next one.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Common questions, answered.
Is it safe in a classroom?
It is a closed cabinet that plugs into a normal socket, with the water tank in a lockable cupboard at the base. We give you the information you need for your own risk assessment.
What happens in the holidays?
The Brain keeps the lights and watering going and sends a phone alert if the tank runs low. For the long summer break, the simplest plan is to time crops so the shelves are empty, or have someone top up the tank.
Does it fit the curriculum?
Plant growth, photosynthesis, data and food all show up in a single crop, so it supports the science and food lessons you already teach.
Can pupils eat what they grow?
Yes, it is food. Follow your school’s food and allergy policy, as you would for any cooking lesson.
How much teacher time does it take?
A few minutes a session. The door screen says what is ready and what to sow, so it does not depend on one keen member of staff.
We have no budget. Is there funding?
Possibly. Contractors and developers sponsor farms for schools near their sites as part of their social value commitments, and we can help make the introduction. Cabinet prices are coming soon.
GOOD TO KNOW
What to expect
Microgreens and herbs: quick crops that fit inside a half-term, which is what makes them work so well in a school.

SEE IT WORKING
No farm to visit yet. A live walkthrough instead.
We are planning our first demo container. Until it is ready, we show you a running cabinet and the Brain on a thirty-minute video call, and answer your questions as we go.
